Formag, cargo-partner (Nippon Express Group), and JETRO Discuss Opportunities for Strengthening Ukraine–Japan Cooperation

Strong international partnerships are built through continuous dialogue, shared goals, and a commitment to creating long-term value. As part of these ongoing efforts, Formag, cargo-partner (Nippon Express Group), and JETRO recently held a trilateral meeting dedicated to strengthening cooperation between Ukrainian and Japanese organizations and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.
The meeting brought together representatives of all three organizations to exchange perspectives on current developments, discuss areas of mutual interest, and identify practical ways to support stronger economic and business ties between Ukraine and Japan.
Among the key topics discussed were ongoing support initiatives for Ukraine, opportunities for expanding bilateral business cooperation, and the role international partnerships can play in supporting Ukraine's recovery and reconstruction. Particular attention was given to areas where logistics expertise, international connectivity, and institutional cooperation can contribute to sustainable economic development and future growth.
The participants also discussed the importance of creating favorable conditions for business collaboration between Ukrainian and Japanese companies. In today's global environment, successful market development requires more than transportation solutions alone. Companies increasingly rely on trusted partners who understand local business practices, regulatory frameworks, supply chain requirements, and the operational realities of international trade.
Meetings such as this provide an important platform for strengthening professional relationships, exchanging expertise, and transforming strategic discussions into practical initiatives. They also help establish a foundation for future projects that can deliver value to businesses, institutions, and communities in both countries.
Formag highly values the cooperation and trust developed with cargo-partner (Nippon Express Group) and JETRO and looks forward to continuing joint efforts aimed at supporting stronger business connections between Ukraine and Japan.
As Ukraine continues its recovery and reconstruction journey, international cooperation remains a key factor in driving sustainable growth, investment, and long-term economic development.
