Operational visit to Khorgos: strengthening control at a critical transshipment hub

As part of our ongoing development of the China–Central Asia corridor, our Kazakhstan team carried out an operational visit to Khorgos – one of the region’s most important transit hubs.
Khorgos is often viewed as an origin point. In reality, it is a high-impact node where cargo is processed, consolidated, and redirected across Central Asia. The transshipment stage often defines the overall efficiency of the supply chain.
During the visit, we worked directly with consolidation warehouses and handling facilities, observed real transshipment operations, aligned documentation in advance with customs brokers, and coordinated with terminal operators on an operational level.
This allowed us to move beyond indirect coordination and gain full visibility and control over a critical stage. As a result, we strengthened our operational presence in Khorgos and introduced a more controlled and predictable operating model.
For our clients, this means:
- controlled cargo handling at the transshipment stage
- reduced risk of delays and damages
- more accurate and predictable transit times
- improved transparency across the supply chain
Reliability today is defined not only by routes, but by control at critical points. Khorgos is one of them – and it is now fully integrated into our operational management.
